This package contains 4 components. All of them use the native Data Conversion component, but they have slightly different ways of performing the conversion. The first is an Int32 (DT_WSTR) -> Int32 (DT_STR) conversion that simply replaces the column name. The second is a DT_WSTR -> DT_WSTR (blanket) conversion. The third is an Int32 (DT_STR) -> Int32 (DT_STR) conversion. Finally, the fourth is an Int32 (DT_STR) -> Int32 (DT_STR) conversion.

Using the Replacement Data Conversion
To use this component, create a new package with your data flow (call it “Data Conversion”) and add a Data Conversion component from the Replacing Data Conversion component group. Select the type of the DT_WSTR column you wish to convert, then select the column name and set the Data type.
Select your file, then click “OK” to start the conversion process. After the conversion is complete, you’ll be able to see the conversion in the data flow.
I’d suggest creating a test script to verify that the conversion was successful. The script can be easily written using the Edit Script window:

This study will explore the interactions between depression and alcoholism, and alcoholics who are suffering from symptoms of depression. The main focus will be on the effect of depression on relapse following detoxification. In general, there have been few studies of the relationship between alcoholism and depression and most of these have focused on the effect of depression on treatment outcome or on treatment resistance in alcoholics. A naturalistic follow-up study of patients treated in an inpatient alcoholism treatment program will be used as the basis for the research. Since patients are selected for the study solely on the basis of their alcohol problems and the fact that they were detoxified from their alcoholism, the sample is a particularly suitable one to study the interaction of depression and alcoholism. Patients will be evaluated on a variety of measures, including the Diagnostic Interview Schedule (DIS), which provides a systematic method for collecting information on symptoms of both alcoholism and depression. The effects of depression on the course of treatment as well as the effects of treatment for depression on relapse rates will be examined. The effects of depression on medication compliance will also be evaluated.Solubility and sorption of polychlorinated biphenyls in contaminated soils eea19f52d2
