Adds a shortcut to Windows “Alt-F” keystroke to all macros.
This doesn’t do anything except add the keystroke to macros, nothing else. It just adds the “Alt-F” keystroke to macros. The actual function of the “Alt-F” key is still managed by the OS, therefore you will still need to press the ALT key or use a shortcut on your keyboard in order to activate the function.
The shortcut is placed below the description of the macro, so if you accidentally start typing the macro you are still able to see the shortcut.
How To Use:
To add this shortcut to any macros you have already created, simply click on the Macros tab, scroll down to the macro and edit the shortcut. Simply type in the shortcut and then click “Add”. You may have to scroll down a bit to find the tab, since some macros have multiple tabs.
After adding the shortcut to the macros, it will be available in the Macros tab, and you may have to reload the page in order to see the shortcut.
Also if you accidentally start typing the shortcut, you won’t see anything until you have typed the shortcut, and then it will appear.
How To Disable:
If you want to turn this shortcut off completely, simply open up the Macros tab and edit the shortcut. Simply uncheck the box next to “Show Shortcut” and click on the “Update” button.
To turn this shortcut off permanently, simply go to Settings -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> Macro and add the shortcut to the “Custom” section. This shortcut will be listed and available until you turn it off completely.
If you just want to turn off the shortcut without adding it to macros, simply go to Settings -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> Macro -> “Custom” and turn off the shortcut.
How to Use:
The shortcut can be used for two main purposes:
1-Managing which keybinding to use on the next press of the “Alt-F” key. By default, when you press “Alt-F”, Chrome shows the focus for the next few seconds. Pressing the key again will change the focus to the previously used keybinding.
2-Emulating what “Alt-F” does. If you don’t like the default behavior of using “Alt-F”, you can assign a new behavior to the shortcut, such as “Open new tab”. By default, “Alt-F” opens a new

About: Jason Gillard

Jason Gillard is a published author, currently working with Foolsound.com as a writer, editor and director.

Though I’m passionate about technology, I’m a somewhat ‘old-school’ user. I prefer to have the ‘rouge’ out of my experience, and I believe that this has created a unique perspective.

I love the old school feel of this extension and I’ve been using it for a long time. Though it’s not always the fastest or easiest extension to use. I like the clean look of the interface and I like the fact that it’s integrated into Chrome.

The functionalities it offers are very basic and it’s not the most intuitive extension. I like the fact that I can easily install scripts and use it’s presets, but it’s not a great extension.

What I have always wondered about, and never been able to find an answer to, is where do the various Tampermonkey users get their scripts from? Are there any sites that has some sort of curated list of scripts that are maintained/updated by the community? That way we can know what scripts are best for our needs.

If so, then maybe a neat feature for them would be an “Add to feed” or “Share link” feature. I know that google reader already has this, but I’m always curious to see if there’s a similar script to what I’m looking for, and seeing if someone already made one might be helpful.

i use some, but I find it’s not as easy to install and it isn’t as user friendly as it should be

Thanks for the great review! You sound like someone who really cares about what they’re doing.

Is it possible for you to provide a review on others extensions that are known to be great?

Thank you
