I have a component that is a part of a template that is handled by a route (which I don’t think is important for the question). My component has a property named ‘details’. I have a method,’setDetails’ which sets the details property to a JS object, and this is called from the parent route. However, in the setDetails method I need to access an attribute of the JS object that is passed to the component. For instance, I have the following method in my component setDetails(details){ console.log(details); this.set(‘details’, details); } I need to access the attributes of the details object that is passed. In the javascript console, my object looks like this: { alertText: “You pressed the button”, buttonLabel: “Click me”, buttonRefocus: “Click me again” } So I need to access those values and save them. I tried setDetails(details){ console.log(details); this.set(‘details.buttonLabel’, details.buttonLabel); } but that didn’t work. However, if I do this: setDetails(details){ console.log(details); console.log(this.get(‘details’)); this.set(‘details’, details); } I can access the details object, but it seems like the parent route is the one setting it. I can’t access the details object which was passed to the component. How can I do this? A: I’m not sure what version c6a93da74d
